Dash gilded a proper handmade sword to accompany his first day of studies on The Middle Ages! Sanding and sculpting his wooden version first, he then carefully created a sand cast into which a metalsmith poured the molten metal. Once cooled, polished and the handle wrapped with leather…a young boy’s medieval character came to life!
